Great Bedwyn sits off the A4 between Hungerford and Marlborough on the edge of the ancient Savernake forest in an area of outstanding natural beauty highly popular with walkers, cyclists and herds of deer.

The Kennet & Avon canal passes through the village, a spectacle during the Summer months with so many beautiful barges & narrow boats.

The bustling towns of Hungerford , famous for it’s wealth of antique shops, and Marlborough, famous for the widest market street in England, together with it's boutiques and Marlborough College, are both a five minute drive away.

Within walking distance are the Beam Engines at Crofton and the Windmill at Wilton. Great Bedwyn is also accessible by train, being the end of the line from London’s Paddington Station.

The village is one of the few remaining villages able to support it’s own Village store, Bakery, Post office and a famous Stonemasons as well as it’s own Tennis and Cricket clubs.
